Permanent makeup was my chosen new career path in 2023 as is my passion. PMU is a fascinating, dynamic industry with constant improvements across pigments, materials and artist techniques as well as exceptionally high quality standards. It aims at delivering the safest, longer-lasting but natural- looking results for its clients, with minimal skin trauma and discomfort. Clients want to look their best every day and you can't beat PMU when it comes to time saving and convenience. 

I trained at INKD academy in Co. Kildare, with the PMU grand master and global trainer Hayley McGowan, painstakingly practicing and perfecting my skills at each stage of creating Powder Brows first on pencil and paper, then with machine & latex and finally working on real models.  

I worked on models and clients with various complexions and hair colours, from fair to very dark but invariably PMU works like magic on everyone and the transformation is truly flattering. What I love most is how adaptable PMU is- we can mix pigment shades, we can vary the technique to achieve the specific look our clients are after, be it more subtle or bolder results. 

I am now at the exciting final stages of training in INKD signature Hairstroke Technique. This technique uses PMU machine and again can be tailored to each client, but unlike Powder Brows, it's best suited to clients with very sparse/ no brows or where brows are missing some sections. Hairstroke Technique can also be combined beautifully with Powder Brows = "combo" brows.
